Calling all girls 16 years and older! GUESS is partnering with Ford Models and ELLE for its first ever North American model search to find the next GUESS Girl. Contestants can upload three images to shop.guess.com/en/guessgirl/, or through the GUESS Facebook page, by May 15th for the chance to be the star of ELLE‘s GUESS photo shoot and a $2,500 GUESS shopping spree.

The grand-prize winner, selected on Wednesday, May 9th will receive a new head-to-toe wardrobe and become the star of BCBGMAXAZRIA’s Spring 2013 campaign.

Rite Aid Sponsors Glam Camp Model Search

 
Girls 13-22 can enter to become the face of Glam Camp for 2012

Orlando, FL – Cosmetic Promotions, Inc., a national beauty marketing and promotional company, is facilitating the Rite Aid Glam Camp Back-to-School program for the 4th year in a row.  To build on the fact that (according to the 2010 census) 27% of the population is now under the age of 24, Rite Aid expanded the program to include an exciting Model Search.

Girls age 13-22 can submit their photo for consideration to become the 2012 face of Glam Camp to www.glamcamp.com/model-search.

Submissions will be accepted between July 1 and September 15, 2011. Two semifinalists will be chosen each Friday (beginning August 5) by a panel of industry professionals.  A total of 14 semi-finalists will have their pictures posted for 2 weeks of online voting beginning September 19.  The five entrants with the most votes on October 1 will be named the finalists and asked to post more pictures and a video highlighting their personality.  One grand prize winner and two runner-ups will be selected on October 31.

The grand prize winner will star in the 2012 Rite Aid Glam Camp Seventeen magazine 2-page spread and all 2012 Glam Camp promotional materials such as in-store signs, Rite Aid circular ads, Rite Aid Facebook page, websites, and email blasts.

The prize includes a trip with one parent or guardian to New York City and $500 spending cash. During the 4-day trip, the winner will receive a professional photo session, a complete makeover by Rimmel and Sally Hansen, a tour of Seventeen Magazine, and a $250 shopping spree with a professional fashion consultant.

There are other prizes for the weekly semi-finalists, the five finalists and the 2 runners up that include product and Rite Aid gift cards. For complete contest rules and details, visitwww.glamcamp.com/model-search.

Maybelline, Neutrogena, Rimmel, Sally Hansen, and Got2Be are the major companies featured in the Seventeen Magazine Glam Camp 2-page spread.  In most Rite Aid stores, there will be a float showcasing prepacks from those brands along with Essie, Veet, Demeter fragrances, and Dove. Teens can receive a Glam Camp cosmetic bag and cell phone charm by mail when they send in their receipt totaling $15 or more from the featured brands. In addition to the model search contest and the gift-with-purchase, there will be professional makeup artists hosting Back-to-School makeovers at 200 top Rite Aid stores. All the information on the event (including makeover locations) will be on the Glam Camp website as well as Rite Aid social media and Seventeen Facebook page.

Throughout the year, the Glam Camp program includes direct sampling of 10,000 Glam Camp gym bags filled with beauty products. These bags are distributed to eager teen girls at events such as concerts, beauty pageants and track meets.

Contest to Model for Tiziano Magni and Lookbooks.com

Thanks to the Major Management blog for turning me on to this opportunity for models.

 
Tiziano Magni has a portfolio that encompasses the “plus famous” (as they say in French)* fashion and beauty clients in the world. (*In France it’s pronounced “ploo famous,” though actually it would be “ploo fameux,” but I prefer to say “pluhs famooks,” ‘cuz I’m sort of ignorant.)

If you went anywhere or did anything in the ’90s, you probably saw his Calvin Klein underwear ads featuring Kate Moss and Michael Bergin. But as you can see, he’s just one of these amazing photographers who makes everything look amazing.
